PLEASE NOTE: The range of displayed parameters varies for each vehicle and is entirely dependent on your vehicle’s control unit, not the Car Scanner app itself. An OBD2 adapter based on the ELM327 chip is required for Car Scanner to function. WiFi or Bluetooth 4.0 adapters are supported. Bluetooth 2.0 adapters are not compatible with iOS devices due to Apple restrictions. Recommended adapters include Kiwi 3, Viecar Bluetooth 4, V-Gate, Carista, LELink, Veepeak, Konnwei KW903.
Beware of Inferior Adapters: Be cautious of cheap ELM327 adapters, particularly version 2.1, often from Chinese manufacturers, as they may fail to connect to your smartphone or vehicle.
