Like I always do, and as the clerks at the honest La Vergne location also do, I meticulously reviewed my receipt. Initially, when I pointed out these discrepancies, the clerk seemed understanding and corrected the invoice. However, upon reviewing the revised invoice, the math still didn’t add up. To my astonishment, the clerk had not only removed the incorrect items but had surreptitiously added other items that were never part of my purchase – items not even listed on the original, flawed invoice!
One might excuse a single error, but after addressing the issue a second time, the clerk repeated this dishonest practice. They did it again, TWICE. It became clear they were actively seeking any opportunity to overcharge me. It’s ironic, because by being honest and building trust, they could have earned significantly more from my continued business – just ask the La Vergne office about my spending habits.
This dishonest experience is a major disappointment. I am a loyal customer of the La Vergne Express Pull-N-Save location, where I have spent thousands of dollars due to their amazing and, crucially, honest service. If this had been my first experience with Express Pull-N-Save, I would have taken my business elsewhere permanently. I am always willing to pay fairly for my express pull-n-save car parts, but deliberate dishonesty and transparent attempts to defraud customers are unacceptable. When confronted with these errors, the clerk’s responses were nonsensical and fabricated, making their deceit even more obvious. Dishonesty speaks volumes about character, and it dictates where I choose to spend my money. Avoid this location if you value honesty when sourcing express pull-n-save car parts.
