Dealing with Hickory Grove Auto Car Parts was an absolute nightmare and a complete waste of time. If you’re looking for auto body parts, especially at Hickory Grove Auto Car Parts, seriously consider going anywhere else. My recent experience was so frustrating that it needs to be shared to warn others.
I went to Hickory Grove Auto Car Parts hoping to find some body panels for my car. Initially, their price quote was higher than Bridgeway, but they had the parts in the right color, so I decided to proceed. Big mistake. After getting the initial quote, I returned with my tools and spent a significant amount of time, about an hour and a half, removing the body panels I needed. However, the cars in their yard were packed so tightly together that I couldn’t fully open my car doors to get the parts out.
This is where the real trouble with Hickory Grove Auto Car Parts began. I needed a car moved to access the parts I had already worked to remove. When I asked for assistance at the front, I was unbelievably told to find one of the two “workers” in the yard myself to get help. After searching, I found one worker who promptly told me, “I don’t move them, it’s the other guy’s job.” Fantastic. After locating the “other guy,” he gave me the exact same response, “I don’t move them, it’s the other guy.” Seriously?
Returning to the front desk to explain the ridiculous runaround I was getting from their staff at Hickory Grove Auto Car Parts, the employee just chuckled and suggested I “try again” because “they’re both tired I guess.” Completely dumbfounded by the lack of any customer service, I decided to just purchase the one panel I had managed to remove and leave. But of course, it gets worse. Suddenly, the price for that single panel was $40 MORE than the original quote! When I questioned the price increase, I was met with an aggressive and completely unprofessional “I NEVER SAID THAT PRICE!”
At this point, arguing with them seemed pointless. My recommendation? Steer clear of Hickory Grove Auto Car Parts. Don’t waste your time, energy, or money at a place that clearly has no understanding of basic customer service and treats customers like a burden. They are disorganized, unhelpful, and dishonest. Save yourself the headache and find your auto car parts elsewhere.
