Connecting Your Vgate iCar Pro:
For iOS Users:
- Enable Bluetooth on your iOS device.
- Configure the Bluetooth device name within your chosen OBD app settings.
- Do NOT attempt to pair the Bluetooth name directly in iOS settings. Connection is managed through the OBD app.
For Android Users:
- When searching for Bluetooth devices, you may see two names: IOS-VLINK and ANDROID-VLINK.
- Select and connect to the ANDROID-VLINK name for proper functionality.
Intelligent Power Saving for Battery Protection:
The Vgate iCar Pro is designed with low energy consumption in mind. After your engine is turned off for 30 minutes, the adapter automatically enters sleep mode, preventing unnecessary battery drain. This feature ensures that the iCar Pro can remain plugged in without compromising your vehicle’s battery life.
Automatic Start/Sleep Function:
- Automatic Start: The iCar Pro automatically powers on when your car engine is started, ensuring it’s ready for diagnostics whenever you need it.
- Automatic Sleep: 30 minutes after the engine is turned off, the iCar Pro intelligently goes to sleep, conserving power.
