Should we determine that the damage or missing parts are indeed due to an error on Round 2’s part, we will gladly replace the kit with an identical complete kit, or a similar kit of equal value, and we will cover the shipping costs. Please be aware that Round 2 reserves the right to modify or decline any replacement request at our discretion. If you have a sales receipt, the process is straightforward and typically free of charge. You’ll need to submit the following:

  1. A copy of your sales receipt: This can be uploaded digitally when you contact us.
  2. A photo of the UPC code: This code is located on the model car kit box.

Parts Request Without a Receipt

We understand that sometimes receipts are misplaced. If you do not have a receipt, you can still request model car replacement parts, but a shipping and handling charge will apply. In this case, you will need to:

  • Kits Purchased Before Fall 2008: Unfortunately, we cannot provide replacement parts for AMT, MPC, Hawk, Lindberg, and most Polar Lights kits manufactured before the fall of 2008. Our inventory does not include back-stock for kits that are out of production or were manufactured by previous companies.
  • Parts Availability: From time to time, certain model kits or parts may be out of stock or on backorder. While we strive to fulfill all requests, there may be instances where we are temporarily unable to provide a specific part.

  • Copy of the instruction sheet: Clearly circle the missing or defective part on the instruction sheet.
  • Original sales receipt and/or UPC code: Include a copy of your original sales receipt and/or the original UPC and date code cut from the box. Copies of these are not accepted.
