Monument Car Parts Expands to a Larger Tracy Location, Reinforcing Northern California Presence

Monument Car Parts, a leading independent auto parts provider with a strong network across Northern California, including a location in Pacheco, has announced the relocation of its Tracy store to a significantly larger site. Owner and operator Tim Archer has moved the business from its previous 11th Street address to a spacious new facility at 30 E. 10th St., the former True Value Hardware store location. This strategic move, effective June 21st, not only enhances the Tracy store but also strengthens Monument Car Parts’ overall footprint in the region.

The relocation to East 10th Street allows Monument Car Parts to offer an improved customer experience. Archer highlighted the advantages of the new location, stating, “We closed our other (Tracy) location and moved to a bigger and better location with better parking and nicer facility in general. [We] Remodeled the whole inside and increased our inventory. We have everything.” This expansion demonstrates Monument Car Parts’ commitment to providing an extensive selection of auto parts and superior service to its customers in Tracy and the surrounding areas.

Operated by Tim Archer and his wife, Charlotte, Monument Car Parts has been a fixture in the Tracy business community for nine years under their ownership. The business boasts a much longer history, however, with the Fisher family having owned it for over 30 years prior to Archer’s acquisition. The continued collaboration with the Fisher family underscores the deep roots and community focus of Monument Car Parts. Archer’s decision to invest in Tracy was deliberate, recognizing the town as representative of their ideal customer base. “It’s a family community, and we thought it would be good for business, and it has been good for business,” Archer explained, emphasizing the strong connection between Monument Car Parts and the local community.

Founded in 1965 by his wife’s father, grandfather, and uncle, Monument Car Parts has grown into the largest independent auto parts store in Northern California. From its Pacheco location to its stores in Vallejo, Antioch, Livermore, Pleasanton, San Ramon, and two Concord locations, Monument Car Parts provides comprehensive coverage across the region. This network ensures that customers, whether in Pacheco or Tracy, have access to a wide range of parts and expert service.

Monument Car Parts caters to a diverse clientele, serving both wholesale customers, including tire shops and automotive dealers, and retail customers tackling their own car repair projects. This broad appeal is built on a foundation of competitive pricing, particularly on name-brand parts. Archer emphasizes their commitment to affordability, ensuring customers receive value alongside quality.

Reflecting their dedication to customer convenience, Monument Car Parts operates 360 days a year. Their extensive hours, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, provide ample opportunity for customers to access the parts and expertise they need. The expanded Tracy location, joining the established network that includes Monument Car Parts Pacheco and other Northern California stores, further solidifies the company’s position as a leading provider in the auto parts market.
