Rest assured, all connectors and materials are brand new, and each connection is pneumatically crimped to OEM standards, guaranteeing a secure and lasting connection. For easy identification during installation, each connector is tagged with a white label. Furthermore, circuits prone to interference are properly shielded and grounded, enhancing the harness’s durability and signal integrity. Every Rywire engine harness undergoes rigorous 100% pin-to-pin quality testing and resistance checks to eliminate any potential voltage fluctuations, providing you with peace of mind and reliable performance.
It’s important to note that all Rywire engine harnesses are built with OBD1 (92-95) Computer Connectors. If you are using an OBD2a or OBD2b computer, you will need to use a computer adapter. Our harnesses are designed to be compatible with aftermarket computers utilizing OBD2 plugs and Non-US OBD2 computers, but they are not compatible with USDM OBD2 computers, with the exception of H22 and GSR stock computers.
A unique feature of our engine harnesses is the custom back-side sub-harness tailored to your chosen chassis. This modular design means that if you decide to change your chassis in the future, you won’t need to replace the entire wire loom – a new sub-harness is all you’ll need! This not only saves you money but also simplifies future modifications.
These harnesses are fully warrantied and guaranteed to function correctly. However, please note that they are non-refundable due to their specialized nature. The detachable back-side connection enhances versatility, allowing the engine harness to be used across different chassis as long as the engine components remain consistent. For existing engine harness customers, we offer replacement back-side harnesses separately, available via phone order.
