4.9 Seals and Leaks: Leaking gaskets or seals are not covered. Warranty does not cover oil leaks/damage on engines or transmissions due to non-replaced seals, gaskets, or filters. Transmission failures due to unflushed coolant lines at installation are not covered. Transmission relearning/resetting or electronic valve body replacement, external switches, and sensors are also not covered for optimal car parts.

5. Warranty Claim Process for Optimal Car Parts
5.1 Claim Submission Requirements: All warranty claims must be filed within the warranty period and include a diagnostic print-out from a LARF or ASE certified mechanic, the unit installation invoice, and receipts proving Recommended Installation/Replacement Procedures were followed within 30 days of warranty activation. Email your full name, contact information, paperwork, and photo-copies of receipts to [email protected]. An RTS representative will contact you within 24-48 business hours, excluding major holidays, to process your claim for optimal car parts.
5.2 Delivery Acceptance for Claims: Delivery acceptance is required to initiate any warranty claim. Parts refused at delivery are subject to a 25% handling & restocking fee, and the purchaser will be responsible for all shipping charges. This applies to all optimal car parts purchases.
